As some of you may have read on my twitter feed, I will be presenting on this year’s VMware User Conference in the Netherlands. The NLVMUG UserCon is the biggest UserCon in the world and will be organized on the 17th of March 2016. The next best thing after VMworld you might say. There are multiple tracks you can follow like SDDC, Cloud Native Application, Hybrid Cloud and of course the most important one: End-User Computing.
Together with Pim van de Vis (Product Engineer R&D EUC Team, VMware) we will present a pretty cool customer case that includes Horizon View, App Volumes, UEM and ThinApp. The customer, “Scheepvaart Museum” has the biggest maritime archive in the world. They manage their archive with innovative technology and have been a VDI enthusiast for quite some time. Recently they upgraded their VDI environment with the VMware EUC portfolio with products like Horizon View, App Volumes, UEM and ThinApp. We will present the what, why and how in this session.
We will also show some new features and functionality in Horizon 7, App Volumes 3.0 and User Environment Manager 9.0. And did I mention that the new and awesome Astro Interface will be shown?
So if you are a geek like me, love cool new tech, want to have a chat with peers and experts I would highly suggest visiting the NLVMUG UserCon in the Converence Center 1931, Den Bosch. And of course attend my session 🙂
An overview of all sessions can be found here. Hope to see you on the 17th of March on the NLVMUG UserCon!
