It already has been a couple of weeks after the NLVMUG 2016 (Dutch VMUG Usercon). The worlds biggest VMware Usergroup gathering.
Although a lot of recaps are already available, I would like to focus a little bit on all the End-User Computing sessions.
First of all, Raymond van ‘t Hag and Ton Hermes presented the new Workspace One Suite with some nice demos. They fully showed the new interface of Identity Manager, the integration with AirWatch and cool new features like conditional access.
I would highly recommend you to watch their recap:
Second of all, the Workspace of the future is always a hot topic. Jeroen van de Kamp and Ruben Spruijt presented their vision on the Workspace of 2020. Unfortunately it’s in Dutch, but like always they had a good session. Watch it here:
And of course, the moment you have been waiting for: my own session. Our sessions consisted out of two major components, a customer case of the Dutch Scheepvaartmuseum in Amsterdam and a view on how they use VMware’s Horizon Enterprise Suite for a desktop solution that is all about innovation.
The second part of our session was about all new productions that have been released in the past couple of weeks. Horizon 7, UEM 9.0 and App Volumes 3.0. Watch it here:
End-User Computing was well represented at this year’s Dutch VMware Usergroup gathering with great sessions and of course meetings with colleagues, friends, customers and other enthousiasts. I’m already looking forward to the next edition.
