Free VDI Design Guide eBook for everyone!

It’s been 2,5 years since the VDI Design Guide was launched. Thousands of people have been enjoying the book, and quite often I received tweets, emails, DMs, etc from VDI enthusiasts all around the world. Those messages explained how the book helped to design and build platforms that performed better with increased stability, scalability, and even with a lowered TCO. I like to keep those messages because they’re one of the best motivators during such a long writing process. While thousands of people have enjoyed the book, it also means that many more haven’t. Sometimes that’s due to the cost, sometimes it’s due to the fact that Amazon doesn’t deliver the book to certain countries, and sometimes simply because people don’t want to buy traditional books. As the title may give away, those challenges are now solved!

Free VDI Design Guide

As you may know, there is a new book coming. The VDI Design Guide Part II will be launched this summer, and it will use much of the content in the first VDI Design Guide as a reference. The VDI Design Guide Part II will mainly focus on use cases such as healthcare, virtual reality, gaming, and VDI by Day/Compute by Night. To understand how to design such a use case, it’s essential to know how the (VCDX-DTM) design framework works. What better reason to offer every person on this planet access to the first VDI Design Guide.

Together with the creative team at my employer ITQ, we have released a special ITQ version of the VDI Design Guide, fully in the new colors of the ITQ brand and free for you to download!
